No MD as a provider at Painted Rock. They have Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), and a Physical Therapist on staff. I really liked Darla (Nurse Practitioner) in the beginning but it seems like they have grown to a size where there seems to be a big disconnect AND/OR backlog with their providers. I followed up for 4 weeks on a prescription that the admin staff could clearly see messages to the provider that weren’t being answered or responded to and then I randomly got a letter saying that I was no longer a patient of theirs - with zero notice or communication - just kind of a stonewall for literally 2-3 weeks.Darla was previously frustrated with me and accused me of “harassing” her admin with my justified and fair follow ups and got very emotional before actually listening to the details of my side. It is time consuming and unpleasant to have to follow up on prescriptions all the time and it was truly their fault that they weren’t getting filled and I needed what I was following up on. It was an endless loop of “let me check with the provider,” then, several day passage, with no word, type of follow up scenario.I never addressed anyone at the practice with anything other than absolute respect and kindness and didn’t deserve to be dropped.If you are looking for an MD, this might not be the right place for you.If you have a decent amount of prescriptions, this might also not be the place for you, as that effective communication between admin and provider seems to be completely broken.My wife and several friends are also leaving their practice because of recent, similar experiences + support for how they treated me and It’s sad because I also referred a lot of other individuals and probably gave them at least 5 other clients they didn’t even know about.

Front office are really snippy and rude on multiple occasions both directly and over the phone. Providers are great though.

I just started as a new patient here about 6 months ago and it's a very refreshing experience. I grew up in and out of Kaiser facilities that are basically just factories for sick people - Painted Rock is such a 180 from that in the best ways!Everyone there is extremely understanding. They explain why they run the tests they run, they provide you all your detailed test results WITH explanations too and they addressed all of my concerns day of.I'm terrible with names but the nurse(?) my age, the guy with the Nikes - he's great and super friendly and personable, and super smooth at taking blood. Took 4 vials from me the first time and it was probably the best experience I've had with getting blood drawn in a long time.My partner has terrible medical anxiety from past bad experiences but I have referred him to Painted Rock because I know they will treat him with the respect he deserves. Thank you all for being such a down-to-earth and personable staff whose goal is first and foremost patient health and happiness.
